Ran process chains from Cronacle (Redwood explorer).
Most of the time, everything’s fine. Occationally, I got the following errors:
ORA-20800: JCS-02138: problem with parameter “I_SYNCHRONOUS”
 ORA-01008: not all variables bound
When it happens, the step fails inside Cronacle.
One possible cause is the job I am using didn’t set the value of “I_SYNCHRONOUS” and “I_STIMULATE”.

No PSA for Info Source 8A*

Several transports caused some issue on an existing ODS with data. The ODS couldn’t be activated, then after reversed some changes, activation is ok, but couldn’t load.
The error is:
No PSA for Info Source 8Azzzzzz 
It’s an issue with Data Mart transfer structure
Looking at InfoSource, all infoPackages and Source system were inactivated.

My company recently purchased Xcelsius. So, I got a chance to play with SAP Business Objects, including Universe, Webi, Live Office, Xcelsius, Polestar, mobile application, Crystal Report, etc, etc.

I almost jumped up when I heard the word “BI” from our newly appointed IT lead (CTO, CIO, Senior Excutive of IT, whatever the title). Then, a slide, a pyramid with Data Warehouse in the middle and Business Intelligence at the top…… His introduction speech  turned into a BI awareness session.

I started to create aggregates on several big cubes about a year ago, and since then, I’ve been really fond of this technology. I didn’t spend much time on it and make the query run-time acceptable.

Edit an infoPacage, in Data Selection tab, select an infoObj of “Date” type, click on the round selection button, usually, the calendar pops up, but not for Data Mart (of the same BW system).
