Switch on navigation attributes

Scenario A:
If the charactoristic in the cube has navigation attributes, when click on the infoCube –> change –> in Charictoristics tab –> Nav. attribute… button, you should be able to see them there.
Check off the checkbox, then activate the infoCube, activate the update rule.

If the attribute is not for navigation, need to switch it first on by [...]

When creating query variable, in the create/change variable screen, there’s a checkbox: “can be changed in query navigation”

SICF –> Default host –> sap –> public –> icman –> right click to bring up content menu –> activate service

Resources and solutions:
Re-activating the failed requests can generally solve the issue. But the same issue will happen again. Reasons of problem are different, some solutions work on one situation not the other.

It turned out to be pretty simple to do what I wanted using ABAP…
Loop all orders/internal orders in the data package, if there are more than one of the same key, sort by date to get the most recent one into data target, delete everything else.

BW3.5 SAPGui 620
When saving large templates, BW web application designer terminates with error:
“Run-time error ‘-2147417848 (800010108)’: Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients”.
Solution: Notes 857360,  684106, 833751
Download and replace the RFC library as note 857360 says.
